Before I Started
Prior to embarking on my health journey, my days were the same. I consumed junk food, lounged in bed all day, and mindlessly scrolled through my phone for hours on end. I didn’t sleep well. I didn’t move much. I didn’t feel good in my own body.
I kept saying to myself, “I’ll fix it someday.” But someday never arrived — until one morning when I said, “Enough!”
The Day Everything Began
That day, I didn’t go crazy. I didn’t sign up for a gym or give up eating all my comfort foods. I just walked for a little bit. Then I had a big glass of water. I had an apple instead of chips.
That was it.
It was small… but it was the beginning.
And that beginning changed everything.
What Changed When I Started

Let’s discuss what actually changed when I began taking care of myself:
1. My Energy
I had more energy throughout the day. I wasn’t sleeping after lunch or being lazy. I began waking up with a smile.
2. My Mood
I was happier. My head felt clearer. I didn’t feel sad or angry all the time. Exercise and healthy food made my brain feel better.
3. My Body
I didn’t become a superhero overnight, but my pants were looser. My face was brighter. I was stronger. Even my skin was healthier!
4. My Confidence
I began to believe in myself. I knew if I could just keep going, I could be the best version of me. That felt incredible.

Change isn’t easy. Some days were tough. I wanted to quit. But I promised myself:
